Guys… I committed a crime. In the original post, I wrote that Alice Cooper was from KISS. Then my editor (my husband, who read my work this morning) was incredibly disappointed with my lack of pop culture knowledge. The edit has been made. Please forgive me. He will not.
Other than that… Tell me! What are your favorite products for the summer? What do I need to try?
What a comprehensive list. The after sun spray is definitely going in the vacation bag. I use a lot of the products you mentioned but will definitely try some others. Thank you for the time you put into this!!!
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading this. Your humor, recs and writing is so enjoyable to read! So happy to have found you here — and not to worry .. if we ever cross paths off screen, know you’ve my beauty bestie support! 😉
Sarah! This made my day—thank you so much for the kind words! I promise, if we ever crossed paths and you had a piece of blueberry in your teeth, I’d absolutely let you know! :) I appreciate you, and likewise—your content is pure gold. It’s clear how much effort you put into everything you do. Truly admirable.
Oh My God, i fall victim regularly to all of the beauty support commandments but I think the worst is mismatched skin tone. Great recs! Will be purchasing the Prequel Vitamin C. Love this, Traci.
I confess I only use Oil of Olay, and a sunblock if I am out in the sun (100 or more SPF). I burn like toast, my kids go tan. I have been using a kerotin shampoo and love it.
this was great—lots of new to me products. i’ve recently started using sophie pavitt’s mandelic acid exfoliating serum and it’s been amazing! i also swear by isclinical proheal serum for vitamin c. it’s faded some of my dark spots over time and my skin drinks it up.

I’m not afraid to say it. I’m a maximalist. 🫶🏻😂

Awww thank you! I sometimes do as well. I was proud that today I helped a sista out at work and alerted her she had a black thing in her teeth 😂😂🫶🏻🫶🏻

Honestly sometimes the Olay OGs are just as solid as some of the higher end products out there.
I need a better shampoo. Going to check some keratin ones out!

All added to the list!!! I’m trying to fade my dark sports as well - not going so well. I’ve never used mandelic acid, but have heard the best things.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. Really means so much to me. Xo
